Before you start using SmartLauncher, you must install and set up the required license, SmartLauncher, and the Components (Adapters and Optimizers) that you are going to use.

Setup Flow

1. Install and Set Up the License

Install the license software and configure the license settings required to use 3D-SUITE.

2. Install SmartLauncher and Required Components

Install SmartLauncher together with the Components required to use 3D-SUITE Adapters and Optimizers.
You can choose either Complete or Custom installation.

  💡NOTE
  To run Scenarios in SmartLauncher, please select ScenarioEditor when you install Components with Custom installation.

3. Create Scenarios

Create Scenarios in ScenarioEditor.
A Scenario defines the set of processes that SmartLauncher runs.

4. Start Using SmartLauncher

After the license, Components, and Scenarios are ready, you can run SmartLauncher from Windows Explorer or from the CAD plug-in menu.
