This video explains how to configure common 3D-SUITE settings in Setting Utility.

Setting Utility lets you configure settings that are shared by 3D-SUITE Front-End applications and Components, such as CAD settings for translation, license server information, Scenario folders, Component folders, and other common options.

Setting Utility is installed automatically during the Components installation. It is also installed automatically during the SmartController Pro installation because SmartController Pro is usually installed on a computer separate from the Components.

Launch Setting Utility

To launch Setting Utility, select either of the following from the Windows Start menu:

• [Elysium 3D-SUITE] > [3D-SUITE User Common Setting]
  • To apply the 3D-SUITE settings to all Windows users on the computer.
    
    
• [Elysium 3D-SUITE] > [3D-SUITE Local User Setting]
  • To apply the 3D-SUITE settings to the currently logged-in Windows user only.
    
    💡NOTE
    If local user settings are configured, they take precedence over the user common settings.
